Project Management Fundamentals & PMP Bootcamp
Our comprehensive Project Management Class offers 72 hours of transformative learning experience that equips you with the knowledge and strategies to succeed. By the end of this class, you’ll master the project manager’s role and adapt project management to various approaches. Gain effective test-taking strategies, navigate complex exam questions, and grasp all question types. Beyond exam readiness, receive a personalized study plan, identifying your PM knowledge gaps. In addition to classroom instruction, students must complete online assignments as directed by the instructor. Tuition includes online access to materials necessary for the training. This course is held virtually with a live instructor via Webex.
Excel 1
Excel 1 is a hands-on introduction to Microsoft Excel designed for beginners or those seeking a refresher in the basics. This 6-hour, instructor-led program teaches participants to confidently navigate the Excel interface, create and format spreadsheets, apply essential formulas and functions, and organize data effectively. The course emphasizes practical skills for everyday business use and serves as the foundation for more advanced Excel training. No prior experience is required.
Excel 2
Excel 2 builds on foundational skills to help participants work more efficiently with data. This 6-hour, instructor-led program explores intermediate topics such as data validation, conditional formatting, sorting and filtering, and working with tables and charts. Learners will also practice using logical and lookup functions to analyze and summarize information. Excel 3

Pivot Tables & Advanced Excel Functions
The Excel Pivot Tables and Advanced Functions Course is a 4-hour, live, instructor-led program that provides a Bergen Certificate of Completion. It is ideal for individuals or organizations seeking targeted professional development in Excel.
Microsoft Excel Certification
The Excel Certification Test Prep Course is a 24-hour, live, instructor-led program designed to prepare participants for the Microsoft Excel Certification exam. The course includes a practice test package and a Microsoft Certification Test Voucher to support exam readiness. It is intended for individuals looking to strengthen their Excel skills and enhance their job prospects by earning an industry certification.
Data Analytics
This Data Analytics program focusing on Excel and Dashboard Design is a 36-hour, live, instructor-led course designed to develop practical skills in data analysis and visualization using Microsoft Excel. Participants learn to organize, clean, and analyze data, apply advanced functions, and design interactive dashboards that communicate insights effectively. The Cybersecurity Course is a 7-week, live, instructor-led program designed to prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ certification. Classes meet twice per week for 2-hour sessions, combining one lecture and one lab each week for approximately 28 hours of total instruction. Construction Administration and Licensing/UCC

Alcohol & Drug Counseling
Bergen Community College’s CADC approved program will teach the competencies to counsel individuals and groups who are affected by addiction, and provide support throughout the recovery process. The program is delivered through a series of courses over five domains. The courses in the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate program fulfill the educational requirements set by the Addiction Professionals Certification Board of New Jersey (APCBNJ) for CADC eligibility. Completing this program successfully can lead to a certification with the Addiction Professionals Certification Board. A supervised externship of 3,000 hours is part of the Addiction Professionals Certification Board’s certification requirement.
Patient Care Technician Certification Program
The Patient Care Technician Certification Program provides training in various skills utilized in healthcare. This program is intended for individuals that wish to pursue an initial entry into the healthcare field or current workers who want to upgrade existing skills to enhance employment marketability in an acute care hospital or other specialized patient care setting. Participation will include four (4) course modules: Certified Nursing Assistant (Basic Patient Care Skills) – Core Credential, EKG Technician Skills Certification – Core Credential, Phlebotomy Technician Skills – Core Credential, and Advanced Patient Care Skills (Advanced Skills for Nursing Assistants). This program includes lecture, laboratory, and clinical components.
Pharmacy Technician
Prepare for a career in pharmacy with training in medication preparation, pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and patient safety. Build the practical knowledge and skills needed to support pharmacists and work effectively in a variety of healthcare settings.
Phlebotomy
Train in the techniques of phlebotomy by providing skills necessary to perform venipuncture, and capillary (finger) sticks for drawing and processing blood samples.
Workplace Wellness and Safety
Build essential skills for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace through training in bloodborne pathogens, basic life support, and other essential health and safety practices.
Pre-HSE Preparation
Students review reading, writing and math skills in this 6-7 week course. Students are pre-tested to find areas where their skills need improvement and those areas of study are targeted. Reading comprehension is taught through analysis of fiction and non-fiction texts. Students will study the persuasive essay format and are helped to improve their grammar and language usage via different organizing techniques. Utilizing problem solving skills, learners review basic operations and are introduced to algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
HSE Preparation
In this 6-7 week course, the four areas of the exam; Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Social Studies and Science are extensively explored in order to prepare students to take the HSE exam. Students review grammar and language usage, are taught to produce a polished persuasive essay, and are given strategies for the math portion of the HSE exam.
The Hospitality and Culinary Program at Bergen Community College Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development provides a comprehensive foundation in baking, culinary preparation, event planning and catering.
